Tahitian young adults respond to Apostle’s message of hope.
Elder Neil L. Andersen of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and his wife Sister Kathy Andersen spoke to French-speaking young adults age 18-30, across the world on Sunday February 21.
Tahitian young adults responded to Elder Andersen’s message of hope.
«I feel I belong here,» said Stephy Mong Yen, who recently started participating in her local congregation again. She added, «I am so happy and grateful to be back, because that’s what was missing in my life, the gospel of Jesus Christ.»
Chris Delord said that Elder Andersen’s message «made me want to continue with my goals that I have set for myself this year, including prayer and scripture study.»
Tiare Tipuu, is the only member of the Church in her family and she admits, “It’s really hard to be alone.”
Tiare was “deeply touched” during the devotional and felt reassurance. “Heavenly Father is always there,” she said. «I’m never alone.”
